Commands — Retro Nexus

All commands are typed in Twitch chat. Commands start with !.

Getting Started

!play

Enter the game and join the adventuring party.

!quest

Join the quest party to participate in adventures.

!leave

Leave the quest party to stay in town.

Guild & Class

!join <guild>

Join a guild to choose your class path. Options: fighters, healers, mages, thieves. Available at level 5. Without an argument, rejoin the adventuring party.

!skills

List all skills available to your character.

Inventory & Equipment

!inv

View your inventory contents and currency.

!examine [player/item]

Examine yourself, another player, or an item to get details.

!equip <item>

Equip an item from your inventory. Smart equipping will auto-swap if a slot is occupied.

!unequip <item>

Unequip an item and return it to your inventory.

!give <player> [quantity] <item/currency>

Give gold or items to another player.

!drop <item>

Drop an item from your inventory (cannot be recovered).

Combat & Skills

!use_skill <skill_name> [target]

Use a skill on a target. Defaults to self (buffs/heals) or nearest enemy (attacks).

!cast <spell_name> [target]

Cast a spell on a target. Same as !use_skill.

!heal [target]

Shortcut to cast heal on yourself or a target. (Healers guild)

!fireball [target]

Shortcut to cast fireball on a target. (Mages guild)

!backstab [target]

Shortcut to use backstab on a target. (Thieves guild)

!steal [target]

Attempt to steal currency or items from a target. (Thieves guild)

Items & Consumables

!use <item> [target]

Use an item on yourself or another player (defaults to self).

!eat <food_item>

Eat food to restore stamina.

!craft <item>

Craft an item using materials in your inventory. See crafting recipes.

!destroy <item>

Destroy an item to recover some materials.

Town Activities

!shop [category/item]

Browse or search for items from merchants.

!buy [used] <item> [price]

Buy an item from a merchant. Optionally offer a price to haggle. Add "used" to buy cheaper pre-owned items.

!sell [quantity] <item> [price]

Sell an item to a merchant. Optionally offer a price to haggle.

!repair <item>

Repair a damaged item (cost depends on damage level).

!search

Search the area for items and currency (takes time between searches).

Information

!help [command]

Show general help or get details about a specific command.

!guilds

Show information about available guilds.
